On 8 July 2024, a group of history teachers from Austria visited the Institute’s Central history point in Warsaw . The meeting took place as a result of the IPN’s cooperation with the Polish Press Agency and the polish the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tobiasz Wultanski from the IPN Office of New Technologies presented the Institute's immersive educational offer. Of particular interest was t guests were particularly interested in the new technology zone, where history is told using state-of-the-art tools, including gaming pods.

Sławomir Bardski from the IPN's International Cooperation Office told our guests about the Institute’s main tasks and mission.

The guests also listened to a presentation on "The Holocaust of the Roma and Sinti," given by Magdalena Zapolska-Downar from the IPN Branch Office in Łódź.

The Austrian educators came to Poland for a several-day-long visit, the theme of which is "Poland's multiculturalism in the pre-war period." The aim of the meeting was also to establish working contacts with representatives of  Polish institutions and to familiarize themselves with new teaching solutions and materials.
