February 24, 2025 marks the 72nd anniversary of the death of General August Emil Fieldorf , "Nil - patriot, legendary commander of Kedyw AK, murdered in 1953 in Mokotow prison on Rakowiecka street.
Deputy President of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) Prof. Karol Polejowski addressed the young people attending the event and noted that General August Emil Fieldorf "Nil" began his service to Poland as a teenager:
General Fieldorf "Nil" fought for a free Poland during World War I, fought against the Bolsheviks, fought against the Germans and then suffered again at the hands of another Bolsheviks. Those Bolsheviks, Polish-speaking collaborators of the Soviets occupying Poland after 1944, sentenced him to a disgraceful death penalty.
