On 19 March 2025, a group of Ukrainian media representatives visited the Archive of the Institute of National Remembrance. The guests were welcomed by the IPN Deputy President Mateusz Szpytma, Ph.D. who briefed them on the IPN mission in the context of its current activities:

Our mission is more than preserving artefacts: it is also passing on the truth to next generations through education. We collaborate with academic institutions and museums around the world to build historical awareness together and prevent history distortion (…) The IPN is one of the world’s largest institutions dealing with modern history, with twenty-five years of experience in research, education and pursuit of the Nation's remembrance policy.

The Institute spokesperson Rafał Leśkiewicz, Ph.D. elaborated on the main areas of the IPN work while the Director of the IPN Office of International Cooperation Agnieszka Jędrzak presented the IPN flagship "Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom" project. The IPN Archive Director Marzena Kruk discussed the collections and the ways we make them available to researchers and the media giving as an example joint, Polish-Ukrainian publications. Finally Sebastian Pilarski, Ph. D. Director of the IPN Historical Research Office named the fields the IPN historians explore.
