On 25 May 2025, a letter of intent was signed between the Institute of National Remembrance and the church of St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr in Rome. The document concerns cooperation in the field of research and educational activities, with particular emphasis on popularizing knowledge about the history of Poland and the fate of Poles in the 20th century.

The signatories of the agreement were: Prof. Karol Polejowski, Deputy President of the Institute of National Remembrance, Rev. Prelate Paweł Ptasznik, Rector of the Church of St. Stanislaus, and Rev. Canon Tomasz Jarosz, Administrator of the Church and Hospice of St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr in Rome. Both parties declared, among other things, the organization of lectures and meetings on historical topics, joint informational campaigns and the promotion of events both in social media and among the local community.

Prof. Karol Polejowski gave a lecture entitled History for the Future – 25 Years of the functioning of the Institute of National Remembrance.

In his speech, the Deputy President of the IPN recalled that 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of the IPN – an institution established to document and disseminate the truth about the most recent history of Poland. He emphasized that this mission has remained relevant since the adoption of the act in 1998, and the IPN's tasks have been gradually developed and expanded, including searching for and identifying victims of totalitarianism, taking care of places of remembrance, and conducting investigations into war crimes:

These words, which were included in the preamble 27 years ago, have not lost their relevance. –The tasks that were imposed on the IPN over a quarter of a century ago are being carried out by successive presidents of this institution.

Prof. Karol Polejowski also noted that today the IPN is the largest Polish historical institution researching the history of the 20th century, employing over 300 historians, with 94 kilometers of files and conducting comprehensive scientific, educational, archival and investigative activities.

The Director of the Office of International Cooperation Agnieszka Jędrzak spoke about the importance of international relations in the area of remembrance  policy and about projects implemented by the IPN, such as the "Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom", which promotes Polish history abroad. She also announced the inauguration of a new undertaking – the screening of an educational documentary series devoted to the fate of the Polish Armed Forces in the West and the figure of General Władysław Anders, enriched with commentaries by historians from various countries.
