On 9 September 2025, a delegation from the Institute of National Remembrance, headed by the Deputy President of the IPN, Prof. Karol Polejowski, took part in a meeting with His Excellency Archbishop Paul Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations within the Holy See’s Secretariat of State, to discuss future archival cooperation.

On 10 September 2025, Deputy President Karol Polejowski, met with the Rector of the Pontifical Gregorian University, the Jesuit Father Mark Lewis to discuss academic collaboration. Both parties expressed their readiness to pursue further endeavors in joint research and academic initiatives.

The IPN delegation also met with the Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See, Dr. Paolo Ruffini, the Director of Vatican Radio, Massimiliano Menichetti, and the Director of the Polish Section of the aforementioned broadcaster, Father Paweł Rytel-Adrianik. The conversations focused on the development of media cooperation between the Institute of National Remembrance and the Vatican media outlets. The parties highlighted the significance of collaborative efforts to promote history and national memory in the international arena and announced their intention to continue the initiatives undertaken thus far.
