22 September marks the final day of the Lower Silesian Congress of National Remembrance, held at Centennial Hall in Wrocław. The programme includes exhibitions, historical reenactments, educational activities and workshops for children and young people.

Visitors could take part in the following activities:

New Technologies Zone – presentations of VR games and digital educational projects;

IPN Bookstore – a 40% discount on items available at the stand, excluding games;

History Theatre for Children – performances The Story of Wojtek the Bear and The Story of Wiktoria and Franek;

Picbot – an interactive robot producing portraits inspired by different historical periods;

Bringing Our Heroes Home – workshops conducted by IPN experts on methods used to locate and exhume victims of totalitarian regimes;

Memoria Cinema – screenings of documentaries and historical series produced by the Institute of National Remembrance.

The Congress forms part of the IPN’s educational and commemorative activities and brings together exhibitions, historical education, workshops and presentations devoted to Poland’s history.
