New Ukrainian documents in the Institute

On November 26, this year, during a meeting between the Intitute’s delegation and the leaders of the Security Service of Ukraine archival documents were exchanged. Janusz Kurtyka, the President of the Institute has handed over to Walentin Naliwajczenko, the Head of the SBU, 19 000 document scans regarding the Ukrainian affairs, including the OUN and the UPA. The Polish side has received 10 000 archive scans documenting the repressions of the Soviet security organs against Poles living in Ukraine in the years 1932-1941. The Head of the SBU has declared the opening of the archives for the staff of the Institute.
