On June 14, 2010 at the Museum of John Paul II Collection (the J. & Z. Carroll Porczynski Foundation) in Warsaw took place an official ceremony of awarding medals and honorary diplomas “Righteous Among the Nations” to eighteen Polish Heroes. The ceremony was organized by the Embassy of Israel to Poland.

The “Life for Life” project is a joint initiative of the Institute of National Remembrance and The National Centre for Culture. Its purpose is to popularize the knowledge about the Poles, who risked their lives saving Jews during World War II.
