On 28 June 2011 dr. Łukasz Kamiński, the new President of the Institute of National Remembrance, took the oath before the Sejm.

The Polish Sejm appointed Łukasz Kamiński, former director of the IPN’s Public Education Office, the President of the Institute on 10 June 2011. The Senate gave its consent to the decision on 15 June 2011. Dr. Kamiński has been elected for five years.
