The seminar "Polish Path to Preedom" was organized on 11 July 2011 within the framework of cooperation of the IPN Office in Szczecin and Evangelisches Jugend-und Fürsorgewerk. The seminar was held for the youth of Morocco, Germany, Palestine, and Poland who participate in the project organized by the EJF "Demokratie lernen." The project aims at comparing selected European ways to democracy and encouraging young people from Morocco and Palestine to participate actively in the processes of democratization in their own countries.

At the meeting Magdalena Semczyszyn presented the activities of IPN Branch in Szczecin. Paweł Schultz discussed the role of "Solidarity" Movement in the Polish path to freedom, and Arthur Kubaj outlined its local dimension. Michał Siedziako compared the processes of transformation in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe after 1989. At the end of the seminar the guests were invited to visit the exhibition, prepared by the staff of the IPN Public Education Office in Szczecin, about the so-called contractual elections in Poland in 1989.
