On 14-15 July 2011 at the headquarters of the Romanian Parliament a working meeting was held of the European Network of Official Authorities in Charge of the Secret-Police Files, organized by the Romanian National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives. All seven Network institutions took part in the meeting - from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Poland. Institute of National Remembrance was represented by dr Krzysztof Persak, director of the President's Office.

During the meeting the participants discussed current issues in partner institutions. Also, the presidents of the Network were established for the year 2012. For half a year the function will be served by Slovakia, than by the Czech Republic.
