New educational website on Stefan Korboński

A new educational website has been launched by the Institute of National Remembrance. It is dedicated to Stefan Korboński - lawyer, activist, one of the leaders of the Polish Underground State during the occupation and the Polish Peasant Party in 1945-1947, the author of widely read books about the Polish underground and the postwar period. He was an important figure in the political and state life of Poland until 1947, an important participant in the political life in exile, and finally, a symbolic figure for "Solidarity" conspiracy circles in the 1980s. Stefan Korboński represented a generation who came to fight for independent and democratic Poland throughout his life, and who for this fight paid extremely high price. His books, including “In the Name of the Polish Republic”, “In the Name of the Kremlin”, “Polish Underground State” became bestsellers, and  played a vital role in society after their publication in the "second circulation" in Poland in the 1980s.
