"The Auschwitz Volunteer: Beyond Bravery" - under this title Pilecki's report, about his stay in the German Auschwitz concentration camp, has been published in Chinese. The book was released on 22 January 2014 by the Acropolis publishing house in Taiwan.

"We, the Taiwanese have read and watched many stories about Auschwitz, but we have never before come across Witold Pilecki, a man who voluntarily entered Auschwitz and described what he experienced there. Pilecki's report is an amazing document. For me it is not a description of a victim, but a witness. I realized that the history of Auschwitz, the history of World War II and the history of Poland are not complete without Witold Pilecki. In Taiwan we know about Auschwitz, we know the history of World War II, but did not know about Pilecki, that is why we decided to publish the Report in Chinese. Constantly we discover truth about what happened in the twentieth century also owing to Pilecki. That is why I see him as a hero of our time" - said Patience Huang, owner of the Taiwanese Acropolis publishing house.

The book is also a result of presentation of the IPN album and the exhibition about life and achievements of Witold Pilecki, which were featured in February 2011 at the International Book Fair in Taipei.
