On 8-12 September representatives of the Russian Memorial Society visited the Public Education Office of the IPN. The representatives of the Society came to the IPN to learn about the scope of activities of the IPN and the Polish model of coming to terms with the past, incl. the persecution of crimes, the IPN archives, the vetting procedures and public education.

During the meeting in the Public Education Office, the IPN was represented by the President dr. Łukasz Kamiński and by directors of several IPN offices.

The participants of the study trip learned about the cooperation of IPN with non-governmental organisations, visited the IPN archive, the Education Center of the IPN and the Rakowiecka prison, where many lectures and classes for student about Poland's recent history are organised.
