On 23 February Institute of National Remembrance hosted representatives of Russia's leading independent media. The visit to Poland has been organized by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the aim to establish contacts with Polish journalists, social activists, experts in the field of vetting and public education. The visit has taken place at the inintiative of the Polish Institute in Sankt Petersburg.

In the IPN Russian journalists met with Radosław Peterman, Deputy Director of the Vetting Office, to talk about reappraisal of the Communist past. They also Dr. Andrzej Zawistowski, Director of the Office of Public Education, to discuss the historical education. Later this week the journalists will also visit IPN archives.
