On 16 September 2015 in the European Parliament in Brussels the exhibition „The Augustow Roundup. July 1945„ was opened. The opening was accompanied by the discussion by Prof. Nikita Petrov (Deputy President of 'Memorial', Moscow), Prof. Jaroslav Volkonovski (Vilnius), representatives of the Association of the Memory of Victims of the 1945 Augustow Roundup and the mayor of Augustow Wojciech Walulik. The discussion was hosted by Anna Fotyga, MEP. Employees of the Bialystok and Olsztyn branches of the IPN Dr. Marcin Markiewicz, Dr. Ewa Rogalewska, Dr. Waldemar Brenda and Dr. Piotr Kardela presented scientific and educational work related to the Roundup.
